Overview

At Diamond Apparel we aim to create high-quality apparel that would include hoodies, sweatshirts, t-shirts, and hats. New items will be released to the public on a bi-monthly basis, where the first month will be focused on creating new designs for our drop and the second month will be focused on creating hype for the product launch and for getting items ready to be shipped. This process will be completed 6 times a year.

Creating a team

With creating a team to make this happen we plan on taking on a graphic designer to help us generate new ideas for our drops in this fast-moving environment. Whilst it would be great to have this individual located in Terrace, we will expand this position to be offered remotely on a contract basis. We also plan on expanding our team as our demand for apparel increases and we are able to show the market what we offer and how we differentiate from other companies. Within the next 3 years, we plan on expanding our operation into a small warehouse where it will be the main hub for our employees to work from and where we will keep the stock of our products. We will also invite customers to come in and have a coffee with us and try on any item that they might be unsure about the sizing. We will carry a small amount of stock to be available for purchase from the warehouse which will save customers’ money on shipping.  Another vital team member that we plan on bringing into the team will be someone who can deal with everything related to HR and social media. The HR part will deal with customers’ concerns and returns. The social media part of it will be responsible for looking at creating ways of getting the attention of our target market, such as creating TikTok’s about our apparel and posting about it on social media platforms. This position will also be required to take care of creating ads on Instagram and TikTok.

Financial Needs

We aim to have about $5000 worth of inventory per apparel drop which would equate to around 90 items distributed across the apparel items we offer. In the first year, we don’t plan on operating out of a warehouse as we want to keep costs to a minimum and want to start planning to expand into a warehouse. A safe estimate to get this company into action would require a $10,000 initial capital investment to be fully functional and ready to release the first apparel drop to the point where we could reinvest earned profits.

Target Market

Our ideal customer would be someone who is adventurous and who takes pride in what they wear. They put quality first, and they will continue to reach for more and to better themselves. If we had to look at a specific demographic it would be from the range of 14-35 years old.
